Looking up old friends, I just now learned of Len’s passing. I am deeply saddened. As kids, we played so many sand lot football games at the Silver Fence. My brother Tim, who passed away this spring, would also be saddened and recall many fond memories together as kids. My condolences to the family, especially Phil, who was one of our gang, too Shane Mahoney.

There could not have been a nicer guy than Lenny. I'll miss the genuine, laid back, good-natured fun that Lenny always brought to the Van Stry Open crowd. I'm sure he will never be forgotten by anyone that ever met him.

Lenny had an infectious laugh and always a smile! He was a wonderful Godfather to my children and a friend to them always. Thanks for letting me think I could drive your yellow corvette. Sorry I "dinged" it!! You were a sweet, fun, caring brother-in-law. My prayers are with Chris and your entire family.

We were deeply saddened by the news about the death of Lenny. We are so very sorry. This must be very difficult for you. Please remember that you are in our thoughts and our prayers.
Lenny was such a kind soul, who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. We will miss his helpful advice. We remember the time when our families went to the Buffalo Bills game. The great time we had in the Keys. Diane, I and the kids really looked forward to going to your house for the cookouts at your home in Gerry. I will remeber the time when Lenny offered to go to Florida with me. Wow what a great time we had. When I would hear his laughter, it would make me realize that I was taking myself all to seriously and when I looked around, I couldn't help but laugh myself. We know how much you will miss Lenny, but you can take comfort and strength from the wonderful family you and he had together. I know their love will get you through this difficult time. I would like to offer my help too. I will be back in Florida in October to stay with Fred Jr. & Patty. We are only 30 miles from you and we would like to come over and spend the day with you & take you to lunch if you don't mind.
May God bless you and your family during this time and always.
Love,
Fred Sr., Fred Jr. & his wife Patty

Such fond memories, Chris, of many dinners with you and Len and the Beskins and of Len's crucial support when we started our real estate closing business. He was a good business man with a balanced approach to life which was special, and he had an unforgettable smile. He lives on here in the Keys through your daughters, Deborah and Kelli, who inherited his talents and his smile.
