Obituary of Mary Ann L. Gray

Mary Ann L. Gray, 70, of 297 E. Terrace Ave., Lakewood, formerly of Brant, NY, passed away Friday, September 20, 2013 in her home. An area resident since 2002, she was the wife of Richard H. Gray whom she married July 11, 1964. Mary Ann was born March 30, 1943 in Lackawanna, NY, the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Maturani Federici, and was a 1961 graduate of Lackawanna High School. She also attended Bryant & Stratton Business Institute. She had been employed in the Buffalo area by Swartz Jewelry, Forbush Lumber and Gets Oil, and retired as a bookkeeper from Petri Baking in Silver Creek. Mary Ann was a member of the Lakewood Rod & Gun Club Auxiliary. In addition to her husband, surviving are two sons: Richard C. Gray of Bastrop, TX and Daniel A. (Wendy) Gray of Maricopa, AZ; four grandchildren: Mary N. and Cheyenne C. Gray, both of Bastrop, and Malinda A. and Christopher D. Thompson, both of Buffalo; a brother, Anthony R. (Christine) Federici of Toledo, OH, and niece and nephew, Heather and Nicholas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lakewood. The Rev. Piotr Zaczynski will be celebrant. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home.
