Obituary of Sarah A. Leone

Sarah A. Leone, 98, formerly of 21 Genesee Street, died Tuesday October 1, 2013, in Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing. Born July 16, 1915, in Erie, PA, she was a daughter of John and Mary Biondi. Prior to her retirement in 1985, she was employed by Mount Moriah Masonic Lodge for 18 years working as a custodian. She was a communicant of Holy Apostles Parish Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Surviving is an extended family including Lucy, Mark, Mark, Jr and Andrew Stevenson. She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony Leone, whom she married February 2, 1957 and who died October 1, 1989; a sister Josephine Kimbill in 1994 and longtime companion Joseph Fusco. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Dennis W. Mende will be celebrant. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Fredonia.
