Obituary of Thomas H. Pattison

Thomas H. Pattison, 72, of Baker Road in Ashville, died Monday, September 30, 2013 at UPMC Hamot in Erie. He was the husband of Brenda Anderson Pattison whom he married July 3, 1971. Tom was born September 23, 1941 in Jamestown, a son of the late Gerald and Crystal Jolls Pattison. Following school, he served in the US Marine Corps and was discharged a Corporal. A retiree of the Cummins Engine Co. in Lakewood, he had in earlier years been employed by the former Crescent Tool Corp. Tom was a true family man, enjoying any time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He spent many hours in outdoor activities, fishing and camping with them all. In addition to his wife Brenda, surviving are four children: Thomas C. Pattison of Ashville, Tammy (Fred Clarke) Pattison and Timothy (Tabitha) Pattison, both of Jamestown, and Amanda (Joshua) Whitford of Randolph; four grandchildren: Ethan Rhodes, Brianna Pattison, Daniel Clarke and Alexander Whitford; a brother, James (Joan) Pattison and sister, Nona Urso, both of Jamestown; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, David and Robert Pattison; and a sister, Gloria Houghwot. The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. James Read will officiate. Burial will be in the Panama Union Cemetery. Friends will be received for two hours prior to the service, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
