Obituary of Josephine Cimino

Josephine Cimino, 88, of Hamburg, NY, formerly of West Ellicott, died Saturday October 5, 2013, in Buffalo General Hospital. A native of Jamestown, she was born July 18, 1925, a daughter of the late Croce and Jaqueline Restivo Pepe. She was a 1942 graduate of Jamestown High School. Prior to her retirement she was employed by Jamestown Plywood as a purchasing agent. She was a former member of Christ First united Methodist Church, Lakewood Rod and Gun Club and the Italian Dancers. Surviving are a son Michael (Linda) Cimino of Hamburg; four grandchildren Jesse, Daniel and Hillary Cimino all of West Seneca and Colby Cimino of Hamburg; a sister Angeline Cresanti of Gerry and a brother Angelo Restivo of Chicago, IL. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Michael Cimino, who she married November 24, 1949; a brother Samuel Peppy and two sisters Margaret Perry and Edith LaBodie. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Augustine of St. Jude Center, Buffalo will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
