Obituary of Cecilia Jane Bradley

Cecilia Jane Bradley, 85, formerly of Jamestown, passed away Sunday October 6, 2013 at her home in Lexington, NC. A Jamestown area resident most of her life, she was born November 16, 1927 in Lancaster, NY the daughter of the late Clarence A. and Cecilia Rose Ott Monnin. While in Jamestown, she worked at the former Tommy's Pizza and GC Murphy Co., and was a member of the Moose Lodge Women's Auxiliary. Cecilia enjoyed sewing, especially making clothes for her family. Her favorite times were those spent with her children and grandchildren. Surviving are a son, Stanley L. (Patricia) Bradley; a daughter, Stephanie (Joseph) Lombardo, both of Lexington, NC; eight grandchildren, Krystal Burke, Benjamin Burke, Stanley Charles (Coty) Bradley, Christopher (Amanda) Bradley, Elizabeth (David) Bowles, Amy Bradley, Angela Bradley, Mary (Shane) Younts; four great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Maddison, Hannah, Aidan; two brothers, Clarence (Sharon) Monnin Jr. of Gowanda, NY; Jerome (Joyce) Monnin of Depew, NY; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Bradley, a sister, Theresa Schoenthaler; and two brothers, Eugene and Leonard Monnin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in Holy Apostles Parish Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Dennis W. Mende, pastor, will be celebrant. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a Hospice agency of choice.
