Obituary of Nancy S. Moberg

Nancy Martin Currie Moberg, 76, of 130 Superior Street, Jamestown, formerly of Plant City, FL, died peacefully Monday October 14, 2013, in her home. A native of Jamestown, she was born January 25, 1937, a daughter of the late Ralph and Margaret Lundine Martin, Sr. She was a 1955 graduate of Jamestown High School. Prior to relocating to Florida she was employed by Quality Markets and earlier by Ecklof's Bakery. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Plant City, FL. She loved spending time with her family and always enjoyed gardening and knitting. Surviving are her husband Jack Moberg, whom she married September 4, 1982; six children Scott (Celeste) Currie of Sugar Grove, PA, Randy (Mary) Currie of Lakewood, Daniel (Sharon) Currie of Frewsburg, Wendy (Mike) Currie Blechar of Denver, CO, David (Tina) Currie of West Ellicott and Steve (Patti) Currie of Colorado; three step children Kathy Moberg of Southport, NC, Sherry Hijioka of Toledo, OH and Robert Moberg of Milford, OH; eighteen grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Ralph Martin, Jr. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Alan Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
