Obituary of Lauren L. Cederquist

Lauren L. "Larry" Cederquist, 75, of 356 Iowa Ave. Girard, OH, formerly of Jamestown, NY and FL, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2013, in the Northside Medical Center, Youngstown, OH. He was born November 24, 1937 in Jamestown, NY a son of the late Elmer L. and Evelyn Ecklund Cederquist. Larry was a graduate of Southwestern Central School and was a member of the Lakewood Rod & Gun Club, the National Rifle Association and the Mt. Moriah Lodge # 145 Free and Accepted Masons. Before his retirement, he was employed as a truck driver for the Midland Oil and Ashphalt Materials, Inc. Surviving are his wife the former Margaret A. Maus whom he married July 3, 1967, two sons; Terry Cederquist of Girard, OH and Scott Cederquist, a grandson James Cederquist of Portville, NY, two brothers; Calvin (Sharon) Cederquist of Jamestown, David (Sandy) Cederquist of Sanford, FL, and three sisters; Mary Beth Bimber of Lavonia, NY, Linda Braun of Jamestown and Amy Gulick of Sanford, FL. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son James Cederquist. The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2013, in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Alan Anderson, pastor of the Bethel Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
