Obituary of Clifford P. Goodwin

Clifford P. Goodwin, 59, of Mee Road Falconer died unexpectedly Friday December 6, 2013 in his home. He was born March 15, 1954 in Jamestown the son of the late Robert and Maude Beatrice Main Goodwin. Clifford was a graduate of Jamestown High School and was employed at FCA Mfg. Previously he worked at Chautauqua Hardware for over 20 years and at Pri-Det. He was a longtime member of the Jamestown Rifle club serving as secretary for many years. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and camping. Clifford will be remembered most as a loving father and grandfather. Surviving are a son, Steven (Chelsea) Goodwin of Kennedy; two daughters, Katie (Peter) Badura of Lockport, NY; Kellie Goodwin (James Crum) of Jamestown; three grandchildren, Leilah and Madison Badura, both of Lockport; Waylin Goodwin of Kennedy; and his biological father, Lawrence Eckman of Pittsfield, PA. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert J. Kasting, pastor of Tree of Life Parish, Immanuel Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Fluvanna Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
