Obituary of Frank J. Consiglio
Frank J. Consiglio, Sr., 67, of 34Sampson St., died at 6:16 p.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2013 in WCA Hospital.
He was born in Jamestown on December 6, 1946, a son of the late Vincent J. and Arasma Musso Consiglio, Sr., and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1966.
Frank had been employed for 34 years by the Jamestown Department of Public Works, retiring as a foreman in 2000. He belonged to Praise Fellowship and was a former member of the Falconer Rod & Gun Club.
An avid hunter, Frank enjoyed deer hunting with his son and with friends. He was a devoted husband and father and a loving grandfather to his five granddaughters. He also enjoyed watching automobile racing and going out to breakfast with friends, especially with Bob Lindberg.
He is survived by his wife, the former Faith Anderson whom he married September 4, 1971; a son, Frank J. Consiglio. Jr. and a daughter, Tracy M. Smith, both of Jamestown; and five granddaughters, Sha'Al Smith, Tyler Smith, Taydem Lang, Keegan Knight Consiglio and Kiara Aroosian. Also surviving are a sister, Gerri (Sebastian) Mazzurco and a brother, Samuel Consiglio, both of Jamestown; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by a brother, Vincent J. Consiglio, Jr. who died December 21, 2009.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Praise Fellowship in Russell, Pa. Rev. Rick Rohlin will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home.
