I'll always remember Art as a caring and gentle man. He was a devoted and loving husband and father. He lived a good life and was a true family man, along with being honest and humble in his dealing with others. The world was a better place with him in it. You will be missed Art... RIP

Uncle Art,
You were an amazing guy and set such a great example on being a caring his husband, loving father and all around fun relative. Your smile and laugh I can picture now. My father, David Sr, shared many stories of you two together and he loved you as well. He was always happy that a man as great as you was chosen to be his sister's life partner. I hope you and my dad are sharing a beer right now at the 'Ol Saints Saloon.
With love, David C Bacon II

Our condolences to the dear loved ones of Art Wahlstrom. We always enjoyed spending time at the Wahlstrom's Corner as we came to call it and Art was always busy working around the yard or on the tractor or in the barn working on something. Never a dull moment. Art had a quiet strenght that went very deep and we will all miss him. Our love to his dear family members.Love to you all. Michael & Patty

My dad, my first teacher, the guy who fixed everything. Dad, I have lived my life with your model based on the Fruits of the Spirit in Galations 5:22-23...love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. I was glad to be your shadow, going to work with you during summer vacation, planting and harvesting sweet corn, growing up with all that we ever needed and wanted (within reason). It was an honor to be by your side in the last hours of your earthly life. "Life is what you make it....." You made it GREAT!

Dear Barb and Family, You are all in our hearts and prayers. May God wrap His loving arms of comfort and strength around you. "I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories.
