Obituary of Robert J. Miller

Robert J. Miller, 59, of 416 Lincoln St., passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 9, 2014 in WCA Hospital. He was the husband of Catherine Carlson Miller. Robert was born April 2, 1954 in Jamestown, a son of the late Robert L. and Beverly Pollaro Miller. He had been employed by Kwik Fill for 18 years, most recently in Falconer. He will always be remembered as a dedicated husband, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. His greatest joy was time spent with his great-niece and nephew, Madasynn and Kenten Martinelli. In addition to his wife, surviving are four brothers: Benjamin Miller of Jamestown, Brian Miller of Ohio, and Billy and Bruce Miller, both of Sinclairville; four sisters: Bridget Martinelli, Brenda Riley, Babette Miller and Rebecca Stormer, all of Jamestown; an aunt, Roberta Franklin; his beloved nephew, Jeffrey Martinelli whom he raised since the age of 2; and many additional nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. Deacon Samuel Pellerito will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday and for one hour prior to the service in the funeral home Monday.
