Obituary of Daniel E. Yocum

Daniel E. Yocum, 63, of Jamestown, died Thursday January 16, 2014 in his home. He was born February 22, 1950 in Dunkirk, NY the son of the late Harold and Lillian Ritso Yocum. Dan was a veteran of the US Army and prior to retirement was a truck driver for Keebler Co. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. Surviving are a son, Keith (Susan) Yocum of Celoron; a daughter, Danielle (Duane) Williams of Northville, NY; four grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth Yocum of Frewsburg; and a sister, Carol (George) Clinger of Kiantone. Military Honors will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday January 20th in the Lind Funeral Home by members of the Herman Kent Post 777 American Legion. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday (two hours prior to the service) in the funeral home. Burial will be in Soldiers Circle at Lake View Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a veterans group of your choice.
