Obituary of Beverly A. Shoemaker

Beverly A. Shoemaker, 60, of Nelson Hill Road Sinclairville, died Wednesday January 29, 2014 in Brooks Memorial Hospital, Dunkirk. A lifelong area resident, she was born April 29, 1953 in Jamestown the daughter of the late Willard and Clarabelle Woodcock Milliman. Beverly was a 1971 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central High School. She enjoyed ceramics, playing BINGO, and was an animal lover, especially close to her everyday companion, her dog Chunky. Surviving are her husband Michael A. Shoemaker whom she married October 31, 1978; four children, Joseph A. Allenbrand of Winchester, VA; Jean L. (Nathan) Eback of Cross Junction, VA; Michelle A. Shoemaker of Sinclairville; Samantha E. Shoemaker of Alexandria, VA; two grandchildren, Cameron J. and Sydney M. Eback both of Cross Junction; six brothers and sisters, Willard Milliman of VA; Henry Milliman of Jamestown; John Milliman and Michael Milliman both of Fredonia; Susan Milliman of Jamestown; and Ruth Fredricks of FL. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
