Obituary of Helen S. Reynolds

Helen S. Reynolds, 73, of 311 E. Sixth St ., Jamestown, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 1, 2014 in the Heritage Park Rehab and skilled Nursing Facility. She was born November 20, 1940 in Strasburg, VA the daughter of the late Hubert Franklyn and Lena Esta MacWilliams Sager. She had been employed at Jamestown Plywood and Chautauqua Hardware, retiring in 1983. Helen was devoted to her family and loved her cats. She is survived by three children, Eddie (Sharon) Lanham of Philippi, West VA; Esta "Jenny" Harrower and Donna Hansen, both of Jamestown; four grandchildren, Kayli Marie Harrower of TX; Danielle Lynn Harrower of AZ; Brooklyn Jean Figueira of Jamestown and Ashley Hallett of Lander, PA; three great grandchildren, Walter, Natalie, and Mykenzie; a sister, Ruth (Bill) Funkhouser and a brother, William (Frances) Sager, both of VA. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Gerald Reynolds; three brothers, Ralph, Ray, and Glenwood Sager; and a sister, Anne Pence. A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday February 6, 2014 in the Lind Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday (two hours prior to the service) in the funeral home.
