Obituary of Myrtle G. Chapman

Myrtle G. Chapman, 84, of 514 Prendergast Ave., died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014 in WCA Hospital. She was the widow of Alvin L. Chapman, Sr. Myrtle was born in Jamestown June 6, 1929, the daughter of the late Oscar and Ida Newgren, and attended Jamestown schools. She is survived by two sons, David A. (Roberta) Chapman of Lakewood and Alvin L. (Susan) Chapman, Jr. of Ashville; a daughter, Sherry M. Mayfield of Aberdeen, WA; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mabel Allen. A private memorial service will be held. Visitation will not be observed. Entombment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
