Obituary of Ann Erickson

Ann Erickson, 82, of 101 Liberty Street, died Friday February 21, 2014, in Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing. A native of Leimen, Germany, she was born January 19, 1932, a daughter of the late Eugene and Irma Klein Hochreiter. Coming to the United States in 1958, she was a communicant of Holy Apostles Parish Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting, cooking and baking. Surviving are her husband Clare Erickson, whom she married January 27, 1955; two daughters Theresa (Rob) Meger and Anita (Brent) Brown, both of Jamestown; a daughter-in-law Cindy Erickson of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; four grandchildren David and Chris Meger and Jake and Josh Brown and two sisters in Germany. She was preceded in death by a son Thom Erickson; two brothers and a sister. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Heart Association or American Lung Association.
