Obituary of Shirley A. Bahriak

Shirley A. Bahriak, 72, of Baker Street Estates, formerly of Binghamton, NY passed away Wednesday February 26, 2014 in WCA Hospital. She was born March 11, 1941 in Panama, NY the daughter of the late Paul R. and Ruth A. (Smith) Gleason. Shirley worked at Red Barrel in the Binghamton area for 35 years, retiring as District Manager. She enjoyed puzzles. Surviving are six children, Charlene (Rodney) Gibbs of Ashville; Eugene (Sandra) Stevens of Winston Salem, NC; Christine Stevens of Panama; Terri Morris, Constance Stevens, both of Florida; Tammy Geertgens of Binghamton; 18 grandchildren, Thomas (Kara), Bradley (Samantha), Michelle, Chelsea, Spencer, Robert, Bryant, Tammy, Nichcola, Amanda, Brandon, Toni, Brittni, Brendon, Joseph, Troy, Cory, and Cassandra; 17 great grandchildren; three sisters, Helen Summers of Clarksville, TN; Patricia (Bill) Smith, and Katherine (Frank) Auria, both of Ashville. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Angel. The family invites you to celebrate Shirley's life with them at an open house from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday March 3, at the Fluvanna Community Church Fellowship Hall.
