Obituary of James G. Collins

James Gabriel "Skip" Collins III, 72, of 888 Hunt Road Lakewood, passed away Thursday February 27, 2014 in WCA Hospital. He was born March 2, 1941 in East Hempstead, Long Island the son of the late James Gabriel Collins II and Margaret Josita Robinson Collins. Surviving are two brothers, J. Douglas Collins of Atlantic City, NJ; Robert G. Collins of Bath, England; a nephew, Matthew Gabriel Collins; a niece, Molly Margaret Collins; two great nieces, Norah and Eden Collins; and numerous cousins. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to everyone at the Hunt Road Resource Center Home for the care given to Skip for over 20 years that he lived there. The funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. today (March 1, 2014) in the Lind Funeral Home. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Resource Center, 200 Dunham Ave. Jamestown, NY 14701.
