Obituary of Judith A. Beardsley
Judith A. Beardsley, 69, formerly of 10th St. in Jamestown, died Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Heritage Park Rehab & Skilled Nursing.
She was born July 31, 1944 in Kane, Pa., a daughter of the late Garland and Alice Haines Dean.
Judy had been employed by Solar Electric in Warren and later as a dispatcher and cab driver in Jamestown. She attended Living Waters Open Bible Church and loved playing Bingo.
Surviving are five children: Dennis (Dawn) Beardsley, Douglas (Paula) Beardsley, Kelly (Ken Kendall) Beardsley, Garland "Charlie" (Renee) Beardsley and Hattie Beardsley; 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; three brothers, George, Robert and Frank Dean; and two sisters, Susan (Gordie Pangborn) Shafer and Ruth Dean.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brittney Beardsley; three brothers, Garland "Butch" and Gary Dean and Andy Reil; and her companion of many years, Harry Brown.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. James Mohney will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Ashville.
Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service, from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
