Obituary of Amy Johnson-Barlow
Amy Johnson-Barlow, 38, formerly of Jamestown and North Carolina, passed away peacefully March 6, 2014 at her mother's home in Port Orange, FL.
She was born August 15, 1975 in Jamestown.
Amy attended Jamestown Schools and worked as an Administrative Assistant in North Carolina before she became ill. She made her home the past few months with her mother in Port Orange, FL. Amy loved to cross stitch and read. She will always be remembered for her love and helpfulness to her friends and family and her love of the pets she had. She is greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Jon Barlow; two sons, Joseph (Kerissa) Johnson, Nicholas Barlow; granddaughter, Myleigh Johnson; her father, Wayne & Kathy Johnson of Randolph; her mother, Debbie & David Marotto of Port Orange, FL; a brother, Michael Johnson; step sister, Sherie Trout; step brothers, Matthew (Barb) Miller; David and Tony Marotto; grandfathers, Wilford "Papa" Marsh; Richard Hackett; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Amy was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Rea Marsh who died December 16, 2008; Doris Sarrell Hackett, whom Amy always called her Guardian Angel; a step brother, Chad Miller who died May 17, 2003; and a step uncle, Ric Marotto.
The family invites you to a Memorial Service and time of sharing remembrances of Amy at 1 p.m. Saturday March 15, 2014 in the Lind Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Wayne Johnson, 10 Dean Street, Randolph, NY 14772, to be set up in a trust fund for her granddaughter, Myleigh.
