Obituary of Dorothy L. Fye

Dorothy L. Fye, 81, of 18 Valley Street, died Saturday March 8, 2014, in WCA Hospital. She was born October 11, 1932, in Johnstown, PA, a daughter of the late Merle and Edna Thomas Fye. She was a member of the Celoron Moose, Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association and the John W. Tiffany Veteran of Foreign Wars Post #53. Surviving are five children Ricky Doud of Jamestown, Darlan Jean (Charles) Blakeney of Lorado, TX, Merle Doud, Richard Doud and Christine (Eric) Ingalls all of Homosassa, FL; thirteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; six brothers Ronald Fye of Johnstown, PA, Lenard Fye of Celoron, David Fye of Lakewood, Edward Fye of Nanty Glo, PA, Richard Fye of Evansburg, PA and Roger Fye of Sinclairville and five sisters Marian Kersecky, Edna Thomas, Nancy Hoover and Debbie Stupsky all of Nanty Glo, PA and Patty Hagens of Ohio. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson, great grandson and a brother Ervin Fye. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Donald E. Ray will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
