Obituary of Lawrence T. Linkous III

Lawrence T. Linkous, III, 30, of 1012 Weeks Rd. Panama, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 5, 2014, in his home. A lifelong area resident, he was born June 8.1983 in Jamestown, NY, a son of Michele McElwain Hosier and Lawrence T. Linkous, Jr. He was most recently employed by Connections, Inc. and had previously worked at Auto Zone, and Intrepid Auto Sales. Lawrence loved to spend time drawing and was an avid New York Yankee fan, Buffalo Bills fan and a fan of NASCAR Racing. He also loved his moms dog "Bubba" Surviving are his mother Michele Hoiser and step-father Jeff Hosier of Panama, his father Lawrence T. Linkous, Jr. of Celoron, two sisters, Amber Linkous of Panama, Alanna Linkous of Celoron, two brothers, Dale Riley and Trevor Lawrence both of Celoron, a step-sister Beth Hosier of VA, a step-brother Joshua Hosier of Erie, PA, his paternal grandmother Alyce Shields of Jamestown, his maternal grandparents Larry and Donna McElwain of Glasgow, KY, Joann McChesney of Cassadaga, and his loving nieces Chloe and Kendra whom he adored. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Lawrence Linkous and his maternal grandfather Gail McChesney. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed. Memorials may be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Rd. Jamestown, NY 14701 or to a charity of one's choice.
