Besides all the wonderful descriptions of John as a family man,John was also a very caring and wonderful friend to both of my parents. In my mom's last days,John visited her,and though she could not speak,her eyes lit up when we talked to her about his visit.It was so very, very kind of him,and I can still hear his voice, what a voice it was, as he would greet my mom, "Jeannie!" On behalf of my family, I extend our deepest sympathy.
