Obituary of Edward D. Eckstrom

Edward D. Eckstrom, 64, of 101 Livingston Ave., Jamestown, passed away at 6:32 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2014, in his home. A lifelong area resident, he was born August 31, 1949 in Jamestown, a son Frances Bolin Eckstrom and the late Lawrence E. "Shorty" Eckstrom. In previous years he was a self-employed farmer and also enjoyed driving truck for several area businesses. Surviving are his mother of Busti, his wife the former Jessica D. Foulkrod whom he married August 2, 1968, three daughters, Wanda (Michael) White of NC, Pamela Depas of Jamestown, Brenda (Johnny) Eckstrom of NC, five grandchildren, Zachary Eckstrom, Kayla Daniel, Andre Eckstrom, Olivia White, Cameron White, one step-grandchild William Tracy, five sisters, Susan Dennison, Sally Boardman, Sandy Giordano, Sarah Giordon, Stacey Siperek and two brothers, Dennis Eckstrom, Benjamin Eckstrom. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
