I've known Rita for a very long time through Sacred Heart Church. She was also a friend of my mother's and they both worked on numerous committees for Catholic Daughters and Alter and Rosary. They also enjoyed trips with Celoron Senior Citizens along with their friends Ed and Kirsch.
Most recently I've had the honor of taking Communion to Rita at Heritage Village and I always enjoyed my time spent with her and our conversations!
My Deepest Sympathy to her family and friends!
What a nice Lady. She was such a good neighbor would always speak when she was out in her yard. Always had a smile on her face. Missed her when she went into the nursing home. Heaven gained an angel when God took her.
Rita and Marty were our neighbors when we lived on Hunt Road. Rita was always warm and friendly with a huge zest for life. Many fond memories of this great couple.
I grew up on the Hunt Road. My mom worked at Bigelow's and attended Home Bureau with Rita. We also visited her. Such a great inviting lady. Many wonderful memories of her ever present smile.
