Obituary of Ronald L. Baum
Ronald L. Baum, Sr., 60, of 107 Miller Ave. Lakewood, NY passed away at 5:25 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2014, in his home following a lengthy illness.
An area resident for most of his life, he was born April 17, 1954 in Kiskininetas, PA, a son of the late Frank Uncapher and the late Viola K. Keefe Baum.
Before his illness, he was a self-employed handyman. He loved to tinker with cars and was always fixing small engines and mechanical equipment. He will be remembered most for his love of playing the guitar and was also a great teacher, having taught many people how to play the guitar.
He was an active member of the Healing Word Ministries Church of God where he served as church custodian.
Surviving are his wife the former Debra L. Wallace whom he married January 12, 1973, a son Ronald L. Baum of Erie, PA, two sisters, Glena (Richard) Kronick of Patton, PA, Lana Breakow of Mich., and his step-father, who raised him, Darrel Baum also of Mich.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Bobby and Larry Turner.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May19, 2014, in the Healing Word Ministries Church of God. Bishop Leecroft Clarke, Senior Pastor will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Busti Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed.
