I was very sad when I heard that Dr. Schultz had passed away. He was my eye doctor for many, many years and I will miss him greatly. Even after moving out west, I would still make a yearly appt. with him. My thoughts and prayers to his family, both at home and at work.

Many fond memories of our time growing up and having picnics and Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpas. Loved the Christmas parties we had when all our sons were little too and my Dad was still alive. You also took care of my eyes for many years when I was younger. You are a wonderful Soul and will be missed. Love you.

Terry was my mentor. I came out of school in 1991 as a good Optometrist. Terry taught me how to be a great Optometrist. Along with my retired partner, Greg Jones, I owe everything to Terry and Greg. Terry had a way of making everything you did seem important. He didn't want to talk about himself. He was always more interested in listening to my stories. My heart is broken at his passing. My father, The Big Chief, died in 2002. Terry has been my father, or at least much older, brother figure in my life. I will miss him always. My prayers go out to his family. Jimmy has now joined the practice as a partner and will surely make his father proud.

I had the privilege of working with Terry and the Team at Spectrum Eyecare in a consulting capacity, visiting the practice in Jamestown twice, which were among the highpoints of my professional life. I think so fondly of all they have accomplished there, and all that know Terry know he was such a central part of that. He loved his patients, and truly cared about the practice team. I also enjoyed many an evening with Terry when we’d attend the SECO meeting in Atlanta each year, with some wonderful memories. He was truly a great family man, professional and friend and an inspiration to so many, including me. We will miss him very much.

Our hearts are broken as we just learned of the loss of our friend. I began with Dr.Terry around 1965 at the Hotel, then 3rd St, then the current wonderful facility of Spectrum. My husband also has been a patient nearly that long. When we moved to SC some 18 years ago, we vowed to make a yearly visit back to see Dr.Terry. He was one of the most compassionate, genuine, personable professional people we ever knew. He was a man of integrity in his business and a man of God in his personal life. Our loss is Heavens gain. God bless all of the family, friends, and workers who loved him as we all did.

We are sorry for the loss of Terry and prayers go out to his family. He could brighten up anyone's day. I loved going in for my eye exam because he was always so friendly and loved his job and made everyone around him feel his joyful spirit. He is a role model and was always interested in his patients lives and he is a great example of what hard work can get you. He will be missed.

Please accept my deepest condolences. I had such a great joy in meeting and talking with Dr. Schultz over the years. Even though I only met with him few times a year as a representative for TLC Laser Eye Centers in Pittsburgh, he made me feel as if we have been close friends for years. Most importantly, when the conversations turned to his patients, I can sense that he genuinely cared about the wellbeing of his patients and his practice as a whole obviously has taken his lead. He will be sorely missed.

Dr Schultz was an amazing visionary who brought state of the art eye care to our area. He was a person of love and patience who took a deep interest in every patient. He was by far the kindest person I have ever known and whenever mention of family came up in conversation he shined even more brightly because he was so extremely proud of his family and considered himself so very blessed. He will be greatly missed because he was living love as our Lord Jesus the Messiah has challenged us all to do. God knows that our biggest need in life is to be loved and His servant Dr Schultz loved us all.

We both graduated from Falconer High School. Spectrum Eyecare has lost a good doctor but is being replaced by his son, who is to going to represent his father well.

I was a long time patient of Dr. Schultz going back to Hotel Jamestown also. My case was a challenging one but he cared for me with cutting edge technologies and always with kindness and caring. He also cared for my mom who always wished he was a medical doctor because of his excellent "bedside manner" He will be missed not only for his skills but also for his "heart of gold". I extend my heartfelt sympathy to his family. May he rest in peace.

It is with deep sorrow to learn of the passing of this truly wonderful man. Terry was much more than a great doctor, though he helped me tremendously with my vision issues, he was a man I just liked being around. Though I moved to the Cleveland, Ohio area about 9 years ago I continued to have Terry offer his professional services for me, not only for his expertise, but for genuine personality. Terry always had time to talk about golf and, of course, his beloved Buckeyes. Condolences to Rob, Diane and the whole Schulz family.
