Obituary of Alfred Vullo
Alfred "Fred" Vullo, 77, of Jamestown, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014 in his home.
He was born November 26, 1936 in Jamestown, a son of the late Sam and Sarah Pintagro Vullo.
A 1954 graduate of Jamestown High School, Fred served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1962.
He was vice-president of the former Jamestown Dental Lab, retiring in 1998.
Fred was a life member of the Herman Kent Post #777 in Celoron.
As an avid photographer, he took countless photographs of civic and family events throughout the years. He also enjoyed wintering at his home in Lake Worth, FL.
He is survived by a brother, Sam (Jackie) Vullo of Jamestown; six nieces and two nephews; and his good friend and cousin, William Piazza, with whom he was in business at Jamestown Dental Lab.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Virginia Ann Adelman.
His wish was fulfilled by donation to the University of Buffalo for medical research. At Fred's request, no funeral service or visitation will be observed.
