Obituary of Mildred E. Annis

Mildred E. Annis, 96, formerly of 3062 Eckman Road, Jamestown, died Thursday July 24, 2014, in Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital, Bath, NY, surrounded by her family. She was born November 13, 1917, in Warren, PA, a daughter of the late Axel and Essie Stewart Rasmussen. She was employed by Fulton Fish Market for 15 years and later worked for Anderson Screw Products. She was an avid bingo player. Surviving is a son Ronald (Susan) Annis of Bath, NY; three granddaughters Sandra (Robert) Wheaton, Mary (Steven) Howard and Amy (Shawn) Gardiner; ten great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Chester Annis, whom she married November 13, 1934 and who died November 5, 1986; a granddaughter Tammy Yatcko; three brothers George, Harry and Raymond Rasmussen and a sister Madeline Ricker. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Lind Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
