Obituary of Edward F. Gould

Edward F. Gould, 84, of Jones Hill Road Steamburg, NY, passed away Wednesday July 30, 2014 in the Gowanda Rehabilitation and Nursing Center following a brief illness with his caregiver/granddaughter Tanya Blue (Sherry Lindell) at his side. He was born February 23, 1930 in Hinsdale, NY the son of the late Frederick and Ida Mae Payne Gould. Ed was employed in the maintenance department at Walmart for 15 years, the last eight in the Lakewood, NY store. Previously, he was a farmer and truck driver for many years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, car racing, tractor pulls, and he loved animals, especially his dog Diamond. Surviving are his daughter, Michelle Euscher of Jamestown; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his children, brothers, and sisters. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Road Jamestown, NY 14701.
