Obituary of Michael J. Chuss

Michael J. Chuss, Jr., 44, of Medina, OH, formerly of Jamestown, died Sunday August 3, 2014, in Medina, the result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born July 21, 1970, in Easton, PA, a son of Sherry Bishop Chuss and the late Michael J. Chuss, Sr. He was a 1989 graduate of Jamestown High School and 1993 graduate of Buffalo State University with a degree in criminal justice. He was currently employed by American Express as a salesman and previously was a manager with Avis at Cleveland and Charlotte International Airports He loved snowmobiling, motorcycles, skiing, hockey, and his pride and joy his daughter Michaela and his best friend, his mother, Sherry. Surviving besides his mother of Gerry is a daughter Michaela Chuss and step son Dillon Munoz, both of Medina, OH; two sisters Traci (Scott) Anderson and Krissy Piazza, both of Jamestown; two nieces Tiffany Clark and Hayley Halovich and two nephews Jordan Anderson and Dominick Piazza. He was preceded in death by his father. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Rick LaDue of Kidder Memorial United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. An account will be set up at a later date for Michaela's future education.
