Obituary of Marlene L. Fisher
Marlene L. Fisher, 50, of 7 Adams St. Jamestown, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 12, 2014, in UPMC Hamot Medical Center, Erie, PA.
A lifelong area resident, she was born August 23, 1963 in Jamestown, NY, a daughter of the late Evelyn Louise Graham Morse Miles and Willard Morse.
She was a 1981 graduate of Jamestown High School.
Along with her husband Mark, they owned and operated Fisher's Family Restaurant on West Third St. for many years. She will be remembered for her outgoing personality and her caring heart. She always had a hug for her customers and was interested in their lives.
Most importantly she will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She loved being a grandma and cared for her extended family as well. She also loved to travel and was the life of the party wherever she went.
Surviving are her husband, Mark C. Fisher whom she married January 12, 1985, a daughter Stephanie Ann Louise Fisher of Green Bay, WI, a son, David J. Fisher of New York City, a granddaughter, Giavanna Marlena Louise Fisher and four brothers, Bruce M. Morse, Brian E. Morse both of Jamestown, Larry J. Graham, Kenneth L. Johnston both of Apollo, PA.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Dayle F. Keefer, pastor of the Fluvanna Community Church will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Fluvanna Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. today (Thursday) in the funeral home.
