Dear Bev, Vern and Sandy, I am so sorry for your loss. Bev and Vern, you've lost your Mother the one who's loved you from the very beginning who from heavenly places, is loving you still. I know she was slipping away from you for the last several years, but still, when you no longer have her warm hand to hold the loss floods in. Sunday, about the time she died, I was scrolling through my calendar and noted her upcoming birthday in October. I hoped she was still alive. Monday morning I seemed pulled to look at the Obits in the Jamestown paper....We all loved her. She was the absolute best friend Anna Swanson could have ever had. She was a second Grandma to Pam and Beth. I remember her sweet voice singing with the Salvation Army and can hear it still even though the words were in Swedish most of the time ! I visited her atBINTA Heritage Green the last time I was in NY hoping to ask her to sing. She was sleeping so peacefully I just sat and held her hand and told her what a wonderful person she always was. I notified Pam and Beth right away and we spent two days texting and remembering your Mom and all the happy times. I have provided my email so I hope to hear from all of you to catch up. Carol
