Vince, Kathleen & Jim: We are so very sorry to learn of your Mom's passing. She was a wonderful person in so many ways. I am blessed to have had the opportunity to grow up across the street from her. Jeanette was sweet, loving and kind. I have such fond memories which I will always cherish. As I said in my eulogy for your Dad last December, it's not going to be the same without Vince and now Jeanette on Valleyview Ave. There home was the cornerstone on that street and neighborhood. There will never be two more likable people with hearts of gold. Some things in this world you hope never changes or goes away and Vince & Jeanette were two such people. May God grant them everlasting life as they enter into his kingdom. Two wonderful servants of the Lord. Well done, I say.

Jeanette was truly a JOY to know. We were privileged to meet her through her daughter Kathleen who is in our St. James church folk group. She & Mr. Joy welcomed us into their home for game nights, sitting on the back porch or gazebo and even hosting a folk group picnic. Jeanette was always a charming & gracious hostess, as I recall at Kathleen's last big birthday party. She was so intelligent & caring & had such a cheerful disposition, despite her unfortunate & extremely difficult blindness. Whenever she answered the phone we had a lovely conversation. We know she is with her dear husband Vince & with God. Peace, Love & Prayers for the whole Joy family. We can only imagine the loss you feel for your wonderful, devoted Mother. You took very good care of Jeanette & the love & caring among your family is an inspiration. May your memories comfort you always. Linda (& Paul) Demler
