Obituary of Carole M. Wetzel

Carole M. Wetzel, 80, of 32 Pleasant View Drive, Jamestown, passed away Monday, September 29, 2014 in WCA Hospital. She was born July 31, 1934 in Buffalo, NY, a daughter of the late Carl Wetzel and Marie Wetzel Smith. Carole attended Watts Flats United Methodist Church and was a member of the Little Broken Straw 4-H. She loved animals, children and crafting. Carole was a very special person who touched the lives of everyone around her. She will be greatly missed by her Resource Center family. Surviving is a sister, Judy Miceli of Apache Junction, AZ; a niece, Jill Burnett of Wheat Ridge, CO; and grand nephew and nieces, Kevin, Rochelle and Stefanie Shaver. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 6th in the Watts Flats United Methodist Church. The Rev. Warren Van Dewark will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Elmlawn Cemetery in Kenmore, NY.
