Obituary of Margaret Lynn Coleson

Margaret Lynn Valone Coleson, 77, formerly of Jamestown, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 8, 2014 in Roswell, GA. She was born September 14, 1937 In Jamestown, the daughter of the late James Frank and Margaret "Peggy" Snyder Valone. Margaret was a 1955 graduate of Jamestown High School and was an active member of Epworth Christ United Methodist Church. Prior to moving to Texas in 1973, she worked at Bigelow's Department Store. She was also a member of the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She is survived by her three children, David Coleson (Ann) of Oklahoma, James Coleson (Mary) of Texas, and Patricia Massung (Gene) of Georgia; 10 grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and a brother, Ted Valone of Jamestown. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Richard "Dick" Coleson, whom she married July 21, 1955 in Warren. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday October 15, 2014 in the Mausoleum at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, West Oak Hill Road, Jamestown. The Rev. Natalie Hanson will officiate. The family would be honored by memorials made to the Alzheimer's Association.
