I was so blessed to have the opportunity to become friends with Dean. She shared so many memories of her interesting life and varied interests. I loved her stories of life in Brooklyn, her devotion to seeking out new family members and their stories for her genealogy and her explanations of aspects of her paintings that she wanted me to understand. I miss you and I'll be calling "It's me, Pamela" when I get there.
