I may have never met Robert but I know he must have been a good man to raise such a wonderful daughter. I know from the way she speaks about Robert that he was very loved in life and must be very proud of all the amazing work his daughter does.

I have had the pleasure of being Rob's neighbor since he moved to Cobbe Circle several years ago. Always had a big smile and friendly "hello" for Martha, Phoebe and I as we took our daily doggie walks. In recent years I have on occasion shared a libation with his crowd around the fire pit. Wonderful person, best of neighbors and a great loss to all who knew him. God bless you Rob and my sincere sympathy to the extended family and friends.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Heintzelman family. I first met Robbie when we were little kids in Sunday School at Bethel Lutheran and graduated with him from JHS in 1980. He always had a smile and a laugh for you. Another classmate gone too soon. Rest in peace old friend.

Buzz: Can't believe we attended your funeral. Doesn't seem real. Really glad we got to spend as much time as we did together the past several months, even though I know it wasn't easy for you. Right up until the end you were still entertaining your friends at the garage, as you have for so long. Those times will be missed. We'll toast you every time all of us get together, though, and remember you fondly. So until we meet again in "The Big Garage in the Sky" (Riz came up with that one, not me), rest in peace, brother.

Rob and I were best friends when we were little, we went to speech class together (him for his R's and me for my S's) He was the nicest person even back then. I am so sorry for his family, and hope that the wonderful memories you have of him keep you comforted in your loss. You are so lucky that so many people have such great memories of him (Robbie, when we were little) I will pray for the family's and loved ones he left behind and that you only have wonderful memories of him.

We were 18/19 years old, going to Trader Jacks, crammed in his tiny car full of smoke. Probably had waay too much to drink and but I remember we laughed and laughed.

There are no words to describe the grief I feel, Dad. Even though I didn't get to see you before you went to be with the Lord, know that I love you more than words could ever express. You have given me so many happy memories, a good work ethic (you loved us working all the time), and unconditional love. May you be socially gifted in heaven, as you were here on earth. Give us strength to adjust to life without you- I will never stop missing you and the love you gave. Give way Daddy xoxo

I cannot even believe I am typing something like this right now. You were the most amazing father a girl could ask for and I will forever be a daddy's girl. My heart is broken and I am missing you so much already. I will always remember our good times together like saved by the bell and full house jokes, the cayman islands give way, socially gifted, it is what it is, cereal and toast for meals, etc. You helped me so much in life and gave me everything you possibly could. Somehow I always had a way of getting you to pay another bill for me haha. I can't imagine how amazing heaven is and I feel comforted in the fact that I know you are with me everyday everywhere I go now. Thank you for all the signs you have sent me already. You never were a slacker! I love you forever and always daddy<3 I cannot wait to see you again someday, but until then I know I have the best guardian angel in the world.

I was saddened to learn of Rob's passing. Rob was a classmate of mine at JHS and JCC. He was an incredibly smart student, and a very good friend. He always had a smile on his face and could always make you laugh. I'll always remember the good times we had with our other classmates and friends. He will truly be missed.

Although I wasn't fortunate enough to get to know such a wonderful man, I was lucky enough to meet someone that has changed my life forever-Robs amazing daughter Lisa. There is no doubt in my mind that he was an unbelievable father to her. As people always say-we are a product of our upbringing and that is most definitely true. The world needs more great parents like Rob was to his girls. Id like to thank him for giving me one of the best gifts in life-A best friend. Thank you for instilling so many wonderful qualities in her. Thanks for supporting her and guiding her to become a strong, independent woman. She is someone that has so much passion about life and you will live on in her forever. I promise to take care of her here on earth. It will be my way of thanking you for bringing this blessing into my world.
Rest peacefully now in heaven.
