Obituary of Gordon R. Carlson

Gordon R. Carlson, 71, formerly of 152 Yolande Ave West Ellicott, died Saturday October 25, 2014 in the Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility. He was born May 27, 1943 in Jamestown the son of the late Raymond W. and Bernice M. Borkman Carlson. For many years, Gordon worked with his father at Carlson's Reliable Roofing Co. He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church. Gordon is survived by his sister, Ann D. Carlson of Jamestown; his aunt, Doris Ahlgren of Jamestown; and a niece and a nephew. The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Alan W. Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
