Obituary of George Nagurney

George Nagurney, 89, of Palm Beach Gardens, Fl, formerly of Kiantone, died Wednesday November 12, 2014, in Florida. He was a WWII veteran of the US Navy. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Hope's Windows as a welder for 38 years. He was a loving grandfather who enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing bingo. Surviving are two sons Daniel (Sandy) Nagurney of Lakewood and David (Marlene) Nagurney of Palm Beach Gardens; four grandsons Kerry Nagurney and Daniel Nagurney, Jr., both of John's Island, SC, Matthew Nagurney of Port Salerno, FL and Cory Nagurney of Palm Beach Gardens; a brother Anthony Nagurney of Youngsville, PA and a sister Mary Coates of North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his wife the former Pauline Gross, whom he married April 26, 1946 and who died January 31, 2000; his twin brother Nicholas Nagurney; brothers John and Mike Nagurney and a sister Ann Repert. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
