Obituary of Leonard T. Weston
Leonard T. "Lee" Weston, 44, of Bemus Point, died unexpectedly Saturday November 29, 2014, in WCA Hospital.
He was born April 4, 1970, in Warren, PA, a son of Douglas Weston and the late Martha Leathers Weston.
He was a 1988 graduate of Maple Grove High School and attended Beaver State College.
He was currently employed by Cummins Jamestown Engine Plant as a materials supervisor. He earlier had worked in retail for Wal-Mart, Sears, Old Navy and Ames Department Store.
He was a member of War Vets Recreation and attended Bemus Point United Methodist Church.
Lee will be remembered as a person with a zest for life who was a sensitive, poetic, kind soul that made everyone in the room smile with his presence. He was a man who walked in the Word and the Light. He was fond of animals. The highlight of his week was watching his beloved Buffalo Bills with his children Halle and Parker.
Surviving are his best friend and former wife Joni Weston with whom he made his home and their children Halle Jenelle Weston and Parker Lehnen Weston, at home; parents Douglas and Peggy Weston of Bemus Point; brother Philip (Sandy Steen) Weston of Greenville, SC; two nephews Grant and Cade Weston and niece Ava Weston all of Greenville, SC several aunts and uncles including Sue (Junior) DiFabio, Tom (Donna) Leathers and Robert Leathers as well as Jim, Cindy, Marcie, Claudia, Sally, Renee, and Chuck Haskins and Lee's extended family including additional aunts, uncles and cousins.
Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by grandparents Tom and Lucille Leathers and Isabelle and Leonard Weston.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Douglas Kibbe will officiate.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
