My first memories of Jack are in his uncle's barbershop on Foote Ave and Briggs St and we were both just kids 50+ years ago.
Put a ton of miles on Harleys with this gentle giant keeping an eye over all of us.
But don't poke the bear, he's a grizzly.
RIP my brother

Jack was ALWAYS a Gentlemen and was Loved and Respected by ALL who knew him.....
Short little story.....
I used to see Jack in the 90's at Mattia's 2-3 times a week as I owned the bar next door (The Stardust)
One night I hear some commotion out front and Jack was sitting on some crying squirming kid.
This is what happened.....
.
Jack was eating his dinner and a young man was giving the Waitress a hard time. Jack told the kid (from his chair) it was time to leave,
"What are you gonna do Fat Ba$t@rd" the kid says and then he smacked Jack in the head and ran towards door.
Well what happened next must have been AWESOME!
Jack jumped out of his chair (all 500+ pounds of him)and ran after the kid and caught him before the kid got to the front door!
That's where Jack sat on the PUNK for 10 Minutes while the Police were called!
HAHAHAHA!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. Jack was a very nice man. He would stop by and make my grandkids animal balloons and give them stuffed animals when they were little. He was a good uncle to them. May you rest in peace.

Dear Sharon, My deepest sympathy on the loss of your dear brother Jack. My brother Tootie and I would always talk about the old days when we lived next to you and Jack, along with the Foti's, Lombardo's, Paterniti's , Tantillo's, and SanFilippo's. My thoughts and Prayers are with you and your family. Pauline, My deepest sympathy also. I remembered when I was working at the drive-in bank at 6th and Main, you and Jack would come to my window. It's so wonderful that you stayed a loving couple for so many years. May he rest in peace now with his mother up in heaven.

Jack, no one will ever again have your spirit of life. You were the kindest, most giving person. 20 years ago you made balloon animals for my Grandson Nick, so many for him just because he was MY grandson. 41 yrs ago, you kissed my daughter Hattie on the forehead and told me how beautiful she was. You rode and fit in like a glove and you gave me my first Guardian Angel for my vest and I buried it with my only son. You were a True Gentleman and I hope you knew just how much you were loved and respected my very very wonderful friend. May you lead the pack of Trikes and rest now. XOXO Love always, your friend Patty
