I regret very much that Richard will no longer be with us. As president of Cornell '46 I found Richard always ready to help when his position representing the Cornell fund did not require it. As we prepare for our 70th reunion we will miss him greatly while we continue to praise God for his full life and his time with us.
I very much echo the candle of Tom Swanson. Rick E Sr was really a true role model who raised a wonderful family.
After almost 38 years, I had the chance to have a reunion with Rick E Sr and family last year... He was still very much a happy, lively, and positive person and reminded me a lot of his dad, who had similar positive personal qualities.
God bless him and the Turner Family as he now sails off!
Great memories of time on the water as a "guest" crew on "The Falcon" in the late 70's. What a competitor!Always grateful for the summer job at FPG with RE Jr and RH as fellow Cornell grads. A good man with whom I was privileged to cross paths.
We were very sorry to have learned of Dick's passing . Our thoughts are with the Turner family and we know that you will remember the many good times had with Dick while sailing and skiing .
