Mrs. Watson, you are one of my top 5 most influential people in my life. You were my 3rd and 6th grad teacher. I wish my kids could say they have someone like you in there academic careers. RIP.

Farewell Sharon. I will miss you. You and Hager have always been great to me and helped me become who I am today. I am grateful. I have a wooden cat on the dresser in my bedroom that you gave me years ago. I treasure it and every time I look at it I think of you. Thank you for everything.
Wishing you peace,
Kathy

Dear Mr. Watson,
I will be 40 years old in April, but I remain incredibly grateful for the lessons that I was so fortunate to learn in Mrs. Watson's classes at Rogers. (It made me smile to see Mrs. Hutchison's name on this list as well.)
I was able to work with Mrs. Watson over several years in different classes, and having subsequently attended Duke and Harvard Universities, she remains one of the best and most impactful teachers that I ever had. As a teacher, she was "tough" in the best sense, and she brought the best out of her students. She made the valuable lessons fun! She taught me her beautiful handwriting. She gave me a strong background in math that I used as a math major in college. She taught me how to sew a giant "huggie bear" that I have to this day.
I will always be so grateful for all of the lessons that I learned from Mrs. Watson. She had such a meaningful impact on my life--and many others. I could not be more sorry for your loss.
Most sincerely,
Kirsten Green

I have fond memories of Sharon. I remember doing my student teaching under her guidance in first-grade at Rogers. Later, I become a colleague of hers. She always gave her best. She will be fondly remembered by students, parents and colleagues. Prayers for comfort.

Of course I think of dogs when I think of Sharon, but I also remember her skill at weaving. She made a beautiful stole for my minister. My sympathy to Hager.

Hagar, my prayers are with you. Sharon was a mentor to me through the years. We used to gather our classes together and sing some pretty silly songs. Enjoy all of your good memories.
