Johanna was a light in our family. She was our storyteller and she collected our memories and passed them along to us all, holding court on a couch during our celebrations.
She was the person we went to when we needed a shoulder, a laugh, or a hug. She was the first person to arrive when difficulty struck and the last to leave. She valued family above all else and taught us all the importance of loyalty and compassion.
I will miss her so very much, and will treasure the gift that she was in my life.
