Obituary of Sherwin S. Miller

Sherwin S. "Bud" Miller, 85, of Lakewood, passed away at 2:29 p.m. Sunday (January 18, 2015) in WCA Hospital. He was born in Buffalo on August 21, 1929, a son of the late Ollie and Vivian Esrig Miller. Bud was a graduate of the University of Buffalo and a Korean War Army veteran. A pharmacist, he had worked for the Varsity Drug Store in Buffalo followed by Rite Aid Pharmacy in Jamestown. He is survived by his wife, the former Linda Kamholtz, whom he married November 2, 1984; four children: Steven (Allyson) Miller, Amy (John) O'Donnell, Judith (late Joseph) Healy and Marjorie Quartley, all of Buffalo; nine grandchildren: Oliver and Justine Miller, Sara, Jeffrey, Michael and Jennifer O'Donnell, Rebecca Healy, and Emily and Joshua Quartley; and a sister, Tillie (late Richard) Lazerson of Buffalo. A private family service will be held. Rabbi Alex Lazarus-Klein will officiate. Visitation will not be observed. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
