Obituary of Michael R. Sullivan

Michael R. Sullivan, 23, of Ramsey Road Ashville, passed away unexpectedly Saturday January 31, 2015 in WCA Hospital. He was born May 6, 1991 in Jamestown the son of Daniel M. Sullivan and Darlene D. Barton. Michael was a 2009 graduate of Chautauqua Lake Central School where he wrestled and played baseball. He worked with his Dad at Sullivan Electric and he also worked at Southern Tier Tree Service and Andriaccio's. Michael loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, snowboarding, and he also had a passion for cooking. Surviving are his mother of Punta Gorda, FL; his father of Ashville, NY; his brother Mathew Sullivan of North Port, FL; paternal grandmother, Teresa Sullivan of Northborough, MA; maternal grandparents, Robert and Evelyn Barton of Valrico, FL; paternal great grandmother, Thelma Bertonassi of Marlborough, MA; uncle, Rick Sullivan of Lakewood, NY; two aunts, Kathleen Sullivan of Northborough, MA; Rachel Reynolds of Lithia, FL; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Phyllis Barton; paternal great grandfather Carl Bertonassi; his uncle, Eddie Barton; and a cousin, Tom Reynolds. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and for one hour prior to the service Thursday in the funeral home.
