Obituary of Nancy J. Campo

Nancy J. Garifi Campo, 89, of 8468 SW 109 Place, Ocala, Fl, formerly of Curtis St. Jamestown, NY, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015, in Ocala, FL. She was born August 26, 1925 in Jamestown, NY a daughter of the late Salvatore and Maria Autore Garifi. She had made her home in Jamestown until moving to Ocala in 1997. Nancy was a 1943 graduate of Jamestown High School. She was an avid reader and book collector and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and golfing. She had been employed by the Marlin Rockwell Corporation for 10 years and later worked as a Teacher's Aide for the learning disabled. She was a former communicant of St. Johns Catholic Church and a member of the Conewango Country Club. Nancy is survived by her beloved husband of 70 years, Leonard "Leo" Campo whom she married September 23, 1944, a daughter, Sandra (Gerald) White of Toledo, OH, a son Thomas Campo of Atlantic Beach, Fl, two grandchildren, Gregor (Stefanie Dupree) Bolotin of Oakdale, PA, Samantha (Joe) Campo King of Jacksonville, Fl, two great granddaughters, Madelon Rose Bolotin, Emma Cecelia Bolotin of Oakdale, PA and her nephews, Richard, Robert and Steven LaMonica. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Mary Garifi Miceli and Clementine Garifi LaMonica. Private services were held in Florida.
