Dear Bob and Chuck,
I remember your mom as one of the very best moms a teenager could have: patient, caring, and always smiling. You have my love and deepest sympathy in your loss of a great woman.

Have nothing but the "fondest" memories, of the Ludwig family. First met Mabel through my aunt, Elizabeth (Bonnie) Calahane. Met her several times later, when I went skiing with her two boys, Chuck and Bob, and my cousin, Jim Kennedy. I'm sure, Mabel will enjoy a "special", place in heaven, as she so rightly deserves. Mabel was known for her kindness, generosity, and her caring ways. She will be "greatly missed".

Dear Chuck and Kathy
You are in our hearts and prayers.
"I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love." Leo Buscaglia
For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. Romans 14:8

Here I am in Florida and so sad to wake this morning and read this memory of Mabel's life.It is a remarkable write up of her life and I learned so much I didn't know about this beautiful lady.I remember when she waited on me at the Eatery, which Chuck owned, and we joked. She was always so pleasant. I am so pleased to have known her. My love and sympathy goes out to all of her family. Warm thoughts from Florida.Wish I could be there.
